Choices and Gut Feelings

Why is it that choices can be so hard to make for many of us? When it comes to making choices we can freeze up like a deer in headlights. This happens especially when it involves relationships, careers or choices that involve money.  The more weight a choice carries, the heavier it feels.

In tarot readings involving a choice to be made, we always look at the most likely outcome of each choice and what the effects of these choices could be. With clients as well as myself, it can still be hard for us to make the choice with the information right in front of us.

Fear is the tie that binds us from choice. We fear change. We fear the mystery and unknown of the new. Fear keeps us stuck in one place, unable to move in any direction. We are afraid to make the wrong choice and deal with hurtful repercussions. We fear the outcome either way. If we stay in that one place long enough, that fear can become a quicksand sucking us under.

For lives to move forward and expand, choices are a necessity. So how can we get more comfortable making choices?

When we chose a lifetime here on Earth, we came with an inner guidance system to help us navigate the rocky, steep and gravely roads of it. This personal GPS system is felt as a knowing in the region between the rib cage and belly button. These gut feelings are otherwise known as Intuition.  We have been taught to ‘think’ logically through making decisions. Using our ego ran mind as opposed to our inborn, non ego ran, split second decision making, Intuition.

The next time there’s a choice to be made, draw your attention to the feelings that you immediately receive in your gut region.  Intuition works so quickly that most miss it. Ask the choice while drawing your spiritual focus to the gut region. The correct choice is the one you feel even before you’ve finished asking the question.

How many times have you made a choice that didn’t work out well, only to look back and say ‘I had a feeling’. It helps to remember that nothing is ever really a wrong choice anyway, just a different direction with its’ own learning experiences. Knowing that can lessen the load of a tough choice.

New Love ❤️ Universal Energy Report May 31, 2017

Unfinished Symphony

Unfinished business; an incomplete lesson; lack of closure; the needs to make amends.

This card also carries today’s  universal energy of one. You can read my prior post for more information on today’s universal energy.   This is about tying up loose ends so that you can move forward in your new beginning.  This is about taking care of yourself now so that you can move forward in the next stage of life. It’s a tough process that is necessary for our growth. Old wounds lingering seem to always reveal themselves in some way in our future if they have never been dealt with. This card brings courage to face your heartbreak or ending so  no you can once again and find some light for your path into your next stage of life 🌷

“Moving on is difficult when love lingers, things are left unsaid, and you haven’t had opportunity for closure in your relationship and then your heart. You can still feel bound up in relationship when closure is denied to you. It’s important to achieve this for yourself. Write that letter, make that call, or have that conversation over a cup of coffee. For peace of mind, except matters as they are,  make amends if need be, and to clear your feelings, even if only to yourself. Be clear about what was left unresolved, and close the door on the past so you can set yourself free. Only then can you love blossom.

When unfinished business casts a shadow over your life, it is a reminder that procrastination is a form of self sabotage. It is not in your best interest to stall. Even stumbling forward is better than holding back. Don’t overthink things or let yourself get distracted, just tie up loose ends and deliver the results, don’t quit before the finish line. Spirit wants you to win.”
